On behalf of the New Zealand Principals Federation and the 2027 Conference Committee, we are pleased to invite you to join us at the NZPF Conference in Ōtautahi Christchurch in September 2027.

The conference themes and speakers will be centred around the meaning embodied in the conference title - Strength in Many Streams. This title is reflective of our whakatauki, Kia mōhio ai tātou ki a tātou. Mā te mahi tahi o ngā whenu - to strengthen the relationship between us, for the benefit of future generations living on our land. Like the many streams that converge across Waitaha Canterbury, our profession draws its strength from diverse people, schools, and communities coming together with a shared purpose.

In the context of the 2027 conference programme, the focus is on how principals can draw strength from many sources - from one another, from their communities, and from the diverse strands of the profession - to lead their schools with confidence and connection. Speakers will engage on the themes of leadership, resilience and diversity, focusing on ways principals can weave these streams together to build strong schools and communities. 

The NZPF Executive and Conference Committee are privileged to host you and hope that the 2027 NZPF Conference will be memorable, both educationally and socially. We are currently working hard to deliver an inspiring programme, leaving you with a renewed sense of connection and purpose. We also hope this conference will provide a refreshing break away, just to network with colleagues. We have the privilege of returning to Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre, a striking venue in the heart of Ōtautahi.

This website will be updated regularly right up until conference with the information you will need to make the event enjoyable and worthwhile. We urge you to register early before the earlybird cut-off date.
